I am really amused by the notion that Phil made the number of attacks implied by those bumps before anyone thought to speak up.

Also, just a couple syntax items: 'slain' is already past tense, making the '-ed' incorrect; and Cory's second speech bubble is missing the word 'to' between 'do' and 'finish'.

Share your embarrassing first named kill stories and knowing now what you know now, what would have done differently the first time you took down a high level enemy that wasn't your average mook or minion.

For example like Phil not knowing about a coup de grace.

There was that time where we fought a minor boss that was a skeleton. Our problem. We had bows, rapiers, and shortswords. All piercing, which Skelly had a resistance too. We lost 3 out of 5 PCs. The first was the sorceror, due to immolating himself with fireball. No fire resistance. Then our ranger and fighter. The rogue and my Untouchable Blade only won because we ran away, while shooting lots of arrows. From then on, I learned to always pack a scimitar, just in case. Oh, and explosives.

Seems like someone is suspicious that the GM went easy on Phil.

Now that I think... Knocking him, he revive next turn, knocking him again... Does that give exp? I mean, he defeated the same enemy many times after all.

If he keeps coming back, was he really defeated? Usually you get exp for completing a challenge. In this case the challenge (defeat Chu) was completed only once, so you can't "farm" exp.

That "hmmm" is like "you should'nt have gone easy on the newbie, GM. i'm sure there was some way to do monstruous stuff if you exploited the full brokenness of this character."

Ohh come on, DM, he was'nt going to go all out against someone who is only at his third session. I'm not even sure Phil got the time to read all the books properly.
