Sometimes you just need a signal. Whether it's for regrouping, timing and attack, or warning off someone. And sometimes those beacons are highly flammable or cause massive property damage.
Share a story about a time your group experienced a very destructive Beacon.
if dodging on i placed in my dark heresy game counts-
they managed to not set off the Hellound's flamer fuel above the hell hound in a warehouse full of the shit. and all the cultists had flame based weaponry too...i am never giving a group a hallucinogen grenade again.

Last campaign I was in, the ranger had Zoro's sense of direction and kept wandering off. Whenever we needed to signal where we were for her to find her way back, the cleric hit me with Lance of Faith, causing a pillar of light that soared 20ft into the air. Since I was the party tank, this rarely did enough damage to bother me, but still...
Oh, and one time the same cleric decided that the best way to kill all the orcs that were attacking me was to light the barrels of oil I was standing on, on fire.

My city is completely dead in terms of RPGs, so I've been thinking of trying to find an online tabletop RPG game.
I seriously don;t want to GM a game, as it takes time and planning I am not comfortable with spending to pull that off again, I have other projects that need my literary juices.
So, people who are interested in GMing a game, contact me. My Skype handle is baka_grappler
My preferences for games are Vampire and Mage (seriously would love to play Mage) in the NEW World of Darkness, or 5th Edition D&D.
And there are a bunch of programs out there (Not current on them, some might have been mentioned already) that also allow you to have a proper tabletop to show things like maps, player locations, and dice rolls on. Much better for playing with people you don't know, and much easier to keep things in order.
She had a taint knife? i had a halfling armed with that once, had to roll sleight of hand for every half an hour of traveling, dc 25 for riding... at least i got a surprise round for when monsters caught our party with our pants down...
also, don't taint knifes only cause disease, not actual undeath? or is it one of those custom taint knifes with stds like zombie virus, lycanthropy or vampirism

I actually recommend against Skype. it is very computer heavy. a very similar program (that can be run in browser even) is called Discord.
and its FREE, on par quality with Skype, and has a desktop application that can be downloaded if you wish.
i much prefer it to Skype at this point.

You might want to check into Hangouts, and some of the VTT options. Roll20 and FantasyGrounds are worth a look.
