So we were low level and trying to infiltrate a museum to counter the thiefs we knew would come. To bypass security we hid in the toilets (we did not come up with a very good plan).
Then the cleaning lady came to clean the toilets and our druid had a brilliant idea, summon some rats to scare the lady.
We all seemed to forgot that spells have verbal components. the guards came pretty quickly after that...
You know, it is exactly for that reason that I make the verbal components to my spells either song lyrics, or conversational phrases. Burning orb tends to be, "She told me she was clean!"
I shut off my armour's speakers and said something over the team's communications frequency; unfortunately, one of us had his helmet off and a speaker by his chin instead of an earbud. So the guys we were talking to heard me say we'd kill them last.

Sometimes players forget that what they say, as a character, is able to be heard by more than just the people in their party.
Tell a story about when someone said something they didn't think someone would hear... and they heard.
