Dude, it's Inuyasha. It was one of the big names in anime during it's run, lots of people know it. You're fine. Now, if it was something more like GoBoiano (the first hit I got on a search for obscure anime), then you should be worried.
That's the point; assuming Green Green and Tsukikage Ran are like the other two (think I've heard of Tsukikage at some point) those are all good, just obscure.
Rarely do i stumble upon someone mentioning Captain Tylor and Tsukikage Ran in the same sentence. And just last page, it was a baccano reference... I feel satisfaction.
Hmm... now the question is would the player (since he's not speaking in character) have gotten it right?
That is the confusing part of such things: grammar errors are so common that correcting them can make dialog less realistic. I mean, I've probably got several in this comment. ^^'
Ten bucks says that when Luke gets the whole story he gets mad again, and gives DM a royal ass-chewing both in-play and out-of-play about how she's actively ruining the fun for everyone else.

Or maybe "Green Green", "El Cazador de la Bruja", "Irresponsible Captain Tylor", or "Tsukikage Ran".
Brownie points if you recognize all four. ^_^

Hey, hey, what's wrong with Irresponsible Captain Tylor? It's not so new, but quite good. Older anime has a specific charm to it too.

No brownie points for recognizing half of them? Haven't seen them, but I do at least recognize El Cazador de la Bruja and Irresponsible Captain Tylor.
