And thus the source of all of our hero's apparent collective inability to die appears. |

... it would be insane to let Luffy have an autoinjector. |
11th May 2015, 3:48 AM
Huh, guess that is one way to do it. |

The auto-injector is, as far as I know, an invention of the comic. From the sound of it, it's exactly what it says on the tin: a device that injects healing potions, either when consciously activated or automatically when the character's hit points fall below a certain level. |

Well, no. I have encountered autoinjectors long before this comic. If I remember correctly, the easiest way to make one is to abuse the trap rules, namely: |

Things like this are why I consider enchanting items to be more like writing a computer program into them than just casting spells. Yeah, you could do that, but you would also want it to continuously cast the healing spell until you are at or above a certain hp. |

Fast healing that works for you, and only you. Anyone else gets healing plus con poison. |

So you could make it hand it to a monk or other speedy class with sleight of hands and use magic devices and have them sprint up attach it to the toughest enemy then run circles around it and let it die. Then pick it up and use it again. |

Yes. You know the old tactic of kiting a boss? Well, this is an awesome way of doing it. |

However they are custom made items, not an d&d item with an official description. |

Ah, thanks for explaining that Brew Potion is a feat. I wouldn't have expected that but as you can tell, I really don't know D&D/pathfinder. I'm used to systems where something like that would simply be using your Alchemy Skill, along with paying the cost for ingredients, tools and facility as well as of course allotting time to actually make something. |

What Usopp does mostly falls under Craft (Alchemy) - basically fantastic chemistry. |

Have we actually seen any mage classes? |
11th May 2015, 1:48 PM"Mages"
Actually, a certain someone talking about auto-injectors played a cleric, and Jango also cast spells. |
11th May 2015, 9:35 PM
The whole Mage/Magic thing is probably going to continue to pop up in those sorts of places- things like Bucky having a magic cannon, hypnosis spells, stuff like that. Probably a lot of the crazy non-devil-fruit stuff is going to be explained by Magic- like the Thriller Bark stuff and the Skypea things. |

Made it through the entire archive and loving it. Really interested to see if you can make it all the way to the end, or at least the time skip. :) |

I really hope to see this comic getting as far as possible, but we'll see Luffy becoming Pirate king before getting to the timeskip. |
