"As long as you don't stand around in the poisonous cloud like an idiot, you'll be just fine."
<worried> "I still have to fight Christopher Walken!"

Tell a story about things being taken out of context.

I was in a ninja RPG game about a decade ago. Our party was camping out in the Ninja City Park when our group's Blood Knight said she was listening for food. Being the loonie I was, I immediately started saying "I'm a sandwich! I'm a sandwich!" The group gets a laugh and she rolls her hunting roll. She gets a critical success. The GM pauses for a moment, looks up and says "you hear in the distance 'I'm a sandwich! I'm a sandwich!'" And thus my joke of her listening for food being taken out of context becomes fact, as she found a talking sandwich. Resisting her Blood Knight nature, she ended up storing it for later use.

"Please stop resisting, your majesty. My orders were quite clear, and I can't properly serve you unless you cooperate. Just lie back and think of Azaroth."

The queen's word is law. The DM, without thinking, had previously had the queen rule that when a woman asks for something, it is reasonable to give it as long as you are not harmed in the process. So when the queen said, "Oh, fuck me!" Out of exasperation, well...

EDIT: For reference, the punishment for disobedience is death. The queen was a tyrant, and fairly mean spirited, killing dissenters and giving her closest allies impossible commands in order to delay execution until they stepped out of line, or simply fell from favor due to fading interest from the queen. Dude was going to die eventually anyway.

The DM was not a very nice one.

Heyyy, isn't Christopher Walken wearing a gas mask?

No, he is far enough away from where the cloud will be that he doesn't need one.

"Better Plan."

Luffy should move to be hit by the canister. One maneuver later and he can bounce it far, far away from anyone imperiled by it.
