Heh heh heh. My best character sheets have handwritten inventories and backstories specifically so I can spring little surprises on people. Tell a story about bad handwriting affecting a game in some way.
GM made the characters for our group in a Warhammer Fantasy RPG campaign. Half of our first session was us making out his bad handwriting.
For example, what was supposed to read as "10 yards of rope" seemed to us poor players to say "10 years of rape".
This one guys handwriting was so bad (and his accent so thick), that we actually made it halfway through the campaign before we realized he was playing an LEVEL and not a DWARF.
is that a 240 under STR? I know its technicaly possible to pull off that by lv 7 but you'd think being strong enough to lift Australia would be a fairly defining character trait.
Sanji has POSITIVE WISDOM!?! Then why does he keep getting led around by the nose by every woman he meets!? Oh, he's gonna have some humongous Flaws, huh?
Which is then made even funnier when you look up "Dood" on Urban Dictionary and find out that the entry was written by someone whose username is "Dutch"
I don't see the GM ever giving a clear set of numbers for any of the monster trios stats just so a stink isn't caused by people saying luffy should have this strength or sanji should have that con.
Too many examples, really.
As I tend to suffer from horrible handwriting if writing fast, and many Players want to Keep things "private" (I mostly GM/DM) we had a running gag that went like this:
Me scribbling a note.
Player 1: Who is this for? If ist for me, can I cast Read Anything, and you then type it? Please?
Player 2: Chuckled.
Player 3: If it says "Crumble Pie Dark again, I am going to demand you buy me a pie. (it actually said Crown of Pieus Drakes).
Me: Nope, just noting what I am going to order for dinner. "Making a mean face"
All Players: Oh, let us write, we`ll pay your dinner as well, oK?
I don't know, having terrible hand writing means I never have to hide my notes when GMing. One of my players had to be informed that the X-Men don't normally accept muntants at their school...

Almost all characters had this in their inventory, so you can imagine the sob stories played out by the campfire...

And the best part is, it fits perfectly in the setting... Did it stick? And if so, did anyone take Hatred: Beastmen?

I think that the stats actually go like this:
STR: 16
DEX: 25
CON: 13
INT: 10
WIS: 16
CHA: 14

I read
20
25 (Yeah really, a dexterity of 25)
13
10
15
14
They must be using 5d6 to roll for each stat, with a minimum of 5 and a max of 30.

Sanji may not be wise, but he is very good at thinking on his feet. He goes where he needs to go. See: Sea Train.

If the GM does print writing instead of cursive, I bet a lot more people would be able to read it without complaint.
