...You're using Paint.net to put together this comic? |

Paint.net is not that bad! |

Honestly I've grown tired of them. They interrupt the flow of the comic way to damned often with little stories that have nothing to do with the main story. Its vastly annoying. |

nothing to do with the main story? it's called Chekov's Gun. they all have SOME kind of relevance. |

Haha, I do think Luffy would make an ideal Jägermonster. |

Great strip, can't wait for more! |

Then again he was more or less a regular guy who got half dragged half coerced into joining the craziest and most ambitious crew on the high seas. |

This comic really makes Krieg more of a badass than he was in the original comic. I don't know if it was changed in the anime since it's been so long since I've seen it, but the manga is a little different. |

I know, right? It's not like the framing device is that it's a D&D campaign, so the enemies have to be relevant in power level to the protagonists or else it's boring, and not the actual anime where the relationships between the characters are as much if not more important than a good fight. |

(note I am speaking from the manga here)Don Krieg wounded Luffy more than anyone else would until he met Crocodile.True,Luffy didn't give a shit about that ,but he won thanks to determination, not strength, otherwise Don's gear equaled him. Also,it kinda ended as a double ko (thanks to Luffy's weakness in water)and you have to count that weakness, because it is what is paid for the strength (just as you have to count as a win Luffy decimating Enel, who managed only to prolong the inevitable with very high technique, despite Enel being stronger than any other enemy he met until he met Kuma, and even then, any oppoment he beat until he met Donflamingo (who he hasn't beaten yet)). |

Yeah, if I am remembering both the manga and the animé correctly, Don Krieg only seems "easy" relative to what is to come. As you tend to expect, each "boss fight" in One Piece is more and more challenging, and this is just the first time Luffy got torn up facing one of them (unless we count his defeat as a boy at the hands of the bandits). |

Krieg is tough in the anime. He pierced Luffy's flesh with sharp bullets, and hit him several times with thd exploding spear. |

Krieg was not particularly deep character-wise and was a jerk (which was very much delibarate in Oda's part), but he was no slouch in the strengh departement. At this point of the story at least, comparee to what they face in the grand line, he is a walk in the park. |
