Note sure about the first, but the rest are: Twilight Sparkle (Friendship is Dragons), Legolas (DM of the Rings), Luke/Luffy (Grand Line 3.5), Emily/Hermione (The Leaky d20), and Pete/R2-D2 (Darths & Droids). The background images are all heroes from the Avengers movie: Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, The Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man.
I hope people are all, "God Dammit Luke, first you choose a guy who "cannot swim" in a pirate setting, and now you choose a guy who "ignores property damage" in a city setting."
I also like how the D&D character faces are the opposite in the horizontal and vertical planes.
So what happened to the maybe crossover strip? Despite what the comment date says, I made the comment yesterday, March 31, which is not April Fool's day.
And Luke (and Billy Hatcher), you so could not beat Poseidon, sorry dude but you couldn't even beat a puddle.

2nd Apr 2014, 2:43 AM"Re: Luke not being able to beat Poseidon"
well considering Poseidon is actually a 17 meter tall crybaby mermaid princess who wouldn't hurt a fly... I don't see how Luke wouldn't be able to beat her. Not that he would want to after meeting her though.
Sorry, but Sea Kings aren't actually fish. Or at least not judging by the fact that the vast majority would be closer blood relatives with Chimera than Fish. The only one I can think of that actually resembles a fish is that one that chomped down Shanks' arm. And that was actually a lesser Sea King in the grand scheme of things.
Aquaman could talk to all sea creatures yes. But he couldn't actually command the ones with Super Genius Intellect bordering on the levels of Gods. And that is where your analogy fails. The Sea Kings have such intellects. Or at least the Greater Sea Kings that inhabit the Calm Belt do. And it is these Sea Kings that Shirahoshi can call to her defense or work into a frenzy.
Interestingly enough, a closer analogy would have been to say that Luffy is Aquaman, because he can actually command all manner of beasts once he gets his Haki powers down. Not to mention having the ability to speak with Sea Kings himself.
actually, all merpeople can communicate with normal fish, shirahoshi just had the extra ability to communicate with sea kings, and they dont have inteligence "bordering on the levels of gods", its just pretty high since theyre really old. and luffy cant speak with sea kings, he just has an innate empathetic understanding.
My only regret with the April Fools' comic is that I did not get to see it because I had no chance to get on the internet that day. Can someone who saved it please send me a copy or something?

Don Krieg: What're you gonna do, huh? Poke me with... your peg leg of doom...? Just give me... what I want and no one... gets hurt.
Don Krieg: The Grand Line is... where I need to be... if I want to... kick Poiseidon in the... keister.
Luke: Hey! No one's kicking Poiseidon's ass except for me!
Patty: Hey, kid! Shtand down or yuh'll be kewed! Yewuh no match fuh Don Kweig!
Don Krieg: I'll pretend I... didn't hear that... brat.
Luke: Don't bother. It's a fact. Oh yeah, I'm also gonna be the Pirate King.
Catherine: Poiseidon's in this game? Has he been... statted?
DM: Dunno. His stats're probably in one of the books somwhere. Hold on, lemme check.
Don Krieg: That wasn't a very... good joke, kid. Say another word... and I'll bust your... balls so far up your ass...
Luke: Bring it on!
Luke: So... roll for Initiative?
GM: Hold on...
GM: Oh yeah. Zoro and Usopp shows up right about now.
Cory: Oh, thank God! I was beginning to think you forgot about us or something!
GM: Of course not. Don't be silly.

Her power is that she talks with the fishes. Thus, Aquaman. Or Aquamaid, in this case.
