""Catapult a cow at his enemies""

You asked for it.

ARTHUR: Now this is your last chance. I've been more than reasonab...

MAN: Fetchez la vache!

GUARD: Quoi?

MAN: Fetchez la vache!

[CUT BACK TO battlements. A cow is led out of a stall.]

ARTHUR: Now that is my final offer. If you are not prepared to agree to my demands I shall be forced to take ... Oh Christ!

[A cow comes flying over the battlements, lowing aggressively. The cow lands on GALAHAD'S PAGE, squashing him completely.]

Come on, you had to know this was coming.

The Tower of Druaga. It's a high-fantasy story about people trying to climb a monster-infested tower.

It's better. Same concept (at least with the "climbing floors" bit), improved execution.

SAO have been about climbing a monster infested tower for two or three episodes out of the fortnight episodes of the Aincard arc. So in fact this is quite different.

The funny thing is, this is exactly what happens in the anime. The main character gets kicked out of the party.

I was playing a heroic mortal in an exalted campaign. As a secondary, more expendable character, I had a heroic deamon, a bloodape. Think a huge demonic gorilla with reddish fur that was very physically strong and often summoned as bodyguards for exalted sorcerers.

So on occasion I played one of the blood apes of the party sorcerer. He had a bunch.

I quickly established dominance and became something of the sergeant of those npcs.

Mostly by hitting them over the head and yelling stuff.

Anyway, we were conducting a major siege on a fortified city.

So since we where having problems with the walls I decided to start launching blood apes on it.

I had to roll to convince another blood ape to volunteer, had to roll to convince the catapult crew to let me do this shit, and lastly had to roll to actually launch the bloodape towards the wall.

I rolled very high all three times.

It worked brilliantly. The bloodape landed on top of the wall no problem.

He was very quickly butchered due to being massively outnumbered.

But it was still cool.
