I admit, I don't like how Jayden is being portrayed in this story, as in the show, Mr. 9 was honestly not that bad. Still, he is being written well, with clear manipulative tactics like this one, really getting under your skin.

I just how he gets to leave on good terms with the crew, and maybe apologizes for his behaviour... unless he's going to be set-up as Crocodile or something.

I'm beginning to think Jayden's going to be Mr. 2 in Alabasta. Could work if they give him enough of a redemption-type. Seems they are setting him up as wanting to build a character on par with Luffy or Zoro. Plus it would give reason for 2's later appearance.

Bon Clay? I dunno. I feel like Mr.1 or Mr.3 would be more appropriate at this stage in the game. 2 seems way to chummy throughout the series to be Jayden, but a rematch with Cory as Mr.1 seems completely appropriate

What if Jayden gets to function as the nemesis for the group? I was thinking how he'd be perfect for Spandam... but actually, Jayden would be great for a lot of iconic enemies the Strawhats will face. Oh, and the reason this is a reply is because that is what got me thinking: what if Jayden ran Mr. 3, Mr. 2, Mr. 1, etc?

Plus... a lot of actual One Piece villains have a certain attitude in common, even in the actual manga and anime. Finding out Jayden is running most of them would be a good way to justify it.

I'm seriously surprised no one ever seem to consider Bellamy. Assuming he stick around for more than one arc, which i'm not particularly expecting him to do.

Hats off to DT, at this point I think I've seen every single character in the alabasta arc short of Chaka and Pell proposed as jayden's next character after Mr. 9 dies. Delightfully unpredictable.

And I wonder how DT will write his character doing a heroic last stand to give Vivi time to get away when currently he's been nothing but a selfish prick.

LUFFY DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. he wakes up, mistakes Zoro's motive for the slaughter, and they fight. It's ABOUT to happen.
