I really don't remember it at all, so this should be interesting.

As someone who reads the manga exclusively, I'm fairly excited to see how these anime-only storylines go. It's a pretty fresh look at One Piece.

Except for a few interesting ones, they are...by and large not very good. The ones after Robin joins, for instance are VERY good, while some, like the flag stealing group...not so much.

I was shocked that the davy-back arc was canon. It had all the hallmarks of a garbage filler arc.

half of the anime version was indeed filler since they added some stuff that weren't in the manga.

i have seen that arc once, and it was ten years ago when i used to watch OP on TV. I really don't remember much of it. little girl, dragons, a fat marine dude...
