I'm looking forward to Sanji and Luffy sneaking aboard that marine ship, and Sanji shaming tbe marine cooks for wasting so much of the food. I love that episode, but that's all the way after Skypeia, I think.
I'm looking forward to seeing if we skip that BS filler arc about the girl that talks to seagulls. Zoro doesn't learn to cut pure iron until the Crocodile Showdown arc, damnnit!
Rastaba, remind me... so you haven't watched much (any?) of One Piece? Or did we just move past what you have seen? Oh, or did I botch my Reading Comprehension check? XP
I watched, intermittently, up to them recruiting Sanji...after that I only ever saw seemingly random episodes, like them meeting their would-be doctor. Such a deer.
If you're interested, it is also available on Crunchyroll... and you don't have to sign up to view it, though if you're not a paid member (or on a Guest Pass) you'll have to deal with commercials.
If you love binging, catching up is fun. The pacing for current episodes (and going back a few years) is frustratingly slow as they are trying to make one chapter = one episode but that isn't an issue when you're binging. XD The idea might be to just borrow the manga through your local library (assuming yours does manga and/or interlibrary loan).
Always could just use Funamation as well. Their website just kinda has the episodes for free there. Well, at least you can generally watch the subbed for free.
Toei _does_ have the whole One Piece anime up for free on Onepieceofficial.com (or is it officialonepiece.com?)- commercials, but no sign-up, as far as I know.
"This content is not available in your country" :(
Crunchyroll is better than the free streams like watchanime in terms of quality, bandwidth and lack of viruses. Chromecast compatibility is great to have too but the lack of English dubs puts me off using it a lot of the time.
Seriously, there's like 3 dubbed animes in their whole archive and there's no easy way to find out if a show has English dubs. I'm cool with subs, but they always make me feel like I'm missing the action because I"m looking at the bottom of the screen.
Don't be mad at Crunchyroll for having almost no dubs because their customers are paying them for subs. Some prefer subs, some will just settle for them. I can go with either and if I enjoy a show I will usually watch it both ways. ;)
If you can't enjoy subs, you can't enjoy subs and that means CR isn't for you; no harm, no foul. If you haven't been trying subs for long, though, it might just be a matter of "getting used to it." Still might not work for you, but someone like usually only has to pause or go back a little if a bunch of stuff is on screen at once e.g. multiple characters speaking at the same time, speaking plus translated text, etc.
I think you're mixing up a couple of plots. Shaming marine cooks sounds like the G8 arc which was just after Skypeia.
Sneaking onto a marine ship sounds like a single filler episode where they almost ran into a Marine fleet in some fog, and Sanji ended up helping an apprentice cook make curry. This was between Alabasta and Skypeia.
Guess I'm just spoiled. Once I get past the surface level "Roll and shout" level of gameplay, I assume* that someone who at least remotely knows what he or she is talking about participated in the rule creation process.
I mean, "Have fun" needs to trump realism, but part of that fun is having your actions at least "feel" like they make sense. ;)
*If this sounds utterly stupid, remember what RPG system I go on about too much in this comments section... it is only mostly stupid. ;)
