Obvious trap is obvious. Even Luffy knows fighting fishmen in water is a bad idea, at least for now.

It's more than that. In the water may be a Fishman's home turf, but Luffy also has the Devil Fruit weakness. Jumping in wouldn't so much be a trap as a suicidal dive.

But even so, many times in the future, he forgot about it and try to dive in the water to save someone forgetting that he can't swim

"Tell a Story: Hold The Line!"

Line effects are in every game. From flame throwers to sprays of acid. Sometimes, stuff just ends up... in the way.

Share a story about Lined up attacks and the hi-jinks that occurred with them.

"Lightning Line's the way"

So, my DM let us all combine items when we were buying them, after we reached ~15th level (Might've been earlier, but either way).

I decided that what I wanted was some nice Jaunty Boots of Lightning Leaping. So three times a day, I could turn a 5ft step into a 15ft step. At the same time, I could, once a day, turn myself into a bolt of lightning and move up to 50ft in a straight line, dealing 6d6 of damage to any creatures in my way, but stopping if I didn't manage to penetrate an object (like a door for instance), and become Staggered for one round.

I didn't get to use these boots all that often, but at one point our group was split apart into a group of one-on-one battles, and I saw my chance. I began shouting rather simplistic orders to my companions, little things like "Nocturne, back!" and the like, until all of our enemies were in a nice straight line, and then I turned into lightning, managed a rather decent roll for damage (killed off my enemy and the two in the middle went down soon after), and then I used my 15 foot step to provide Flanking on the last guy, letting our fighter finish it off with the nice little bonus provided. Seeing as how we had been closer to losing than we would've liked, I was happy to have remembered I could do that. The paladin didn't really like the fact I'd shocked him, but he got over it.
