While that seems to be the right call, it seems Luke has forgotten to read up on his fishmen. Oh well, at least he will learn soon.

Appropriate, since Luffy never seems to be big on preparation anyway. He just assumes he's strong enough to overcome any enemy, and changes tactics accordingly.

"Tell a Story: Sunder Mountain"

Breaking things is only bad if they belong to you. Or if it gets you thrown in jail.

Share stories about times you've sundered or otherwise destroyed something that you're quite proud of.

"Table flipp of justice"

We where infiltrating this nobleman's estate, and was attacked by some kind of demon like tentacle beast that was hiding in the roof of the gazebo, attacking with reach attacks. more of a pain in the ass than a real threat, even though it did do a dangerous amount of damage and sneak attacked our mage, dragging him up into the rafters to be devovered.

and, we had limited reach/range weapons that where effective due to it's DR, and with the mage out of the combat, we were without a good way of damaging it.

and that is when our paladin has enough of it's shit, exits the gazebo, and proceeds flip the building (yes, he was able to. we did the math, and reserch on average gazebos weights...)

"Tornado Valet"

So in my Ponyfinder Group, we're trying to find these six ancient stones and (yes, they are most definitely the Elements of Harmony but renamed) etc etc. We've already gotten Aether/Magic from this other plane we had to go to the past to get to (Plane-phasing spiders were using it to power their city, and a witch was murderizing people to try and Planeshift the whole town so she could use its power, and that's why Ebonsilk is, in the present day, such an evil, abandoned place), we'd acquired Gaia/Honesty from an ancient tomb in the desert, and the queen already had Soul/Kindness and whatever Laughter was called.

Now all we needed was Generosity(whatsitcalled) and Storm/Loyalty. Good thing we have a clue as to where-- Uh Oh! A giant tornado has sprung up in the middle of town! The weather teams are trying to stop it, but aren't having any effect!

We ended up dropping the Seeker's Guild building on the tornado to finally bring it to a stop, but all pegasi had just lost the ability to control weather. We could still stand on clouds and fly, but anything else was beyond us. So yeah, that's how we used a building to stop a tornado.

"Attack the gazebo" is a tactic with merit after all!

the meme was mentioned, yes. It is, after all, one of the time honored tactics of the ancient sages.

I remember sitting on a game where the party, tired of the GM pulling tentacle crap or the like at them two time every campaing, because Seriousely that ain't some stupid ass ecchi anime, had prepared several way to quickly and (sometime most anticlimaticaly) dispose of them.
Attacked by one in a reef and started running away. not to escape, no, of course the things whas just going to extend its limb to catch us (coincidentally, more to catch the female member of the party). the plan was to catapult the giant sphere on top of a Lighthouse that glow thanks to a eletric spell. we did'nt manage to break the sphere from it's socle, so we resorted to to just make the lighthouse fall on the thing. the eletric sphere did end up frying it.
And we justified ourselves by saying that a zone infested by tentacle monster was not safe to navigate aniway, so with or without beacon, the Ships where better off not coming near this place.

I played a psionic once.

I was just testing out my powers at the start of the game when I accidentally sundered the metaphysical manifestation of the big bad's pride who was just happenstance in the same bar as we were starting our adventure in. (to be fair it was a very good tavern and the hot wings were amazing.)

When I said I wanted to try sundering someone's pride, GM asked me to pick a target, and I said "...eh...whover's pride is the biggest" and it turned out it was the big bad who was the most prideful.

honestly I thought it was going to be out barbarian's since he was basically major hughes in character and absolutely gushing with pride over his kid's achievements.
