We're almost to my favorite part.
Tell a story about being forced to work with someone whom you or other members of the party did not trust.

My Carrion Crown group, in the pursuit of allies against a lich-worshipping necromancy cult who basically want to turn everyone into undead, have been trying to make a tenuous alliance with the most powerful group who are enemies of said cult; the local vampire mafia.

In our group, we have a paladin of Iomedae, and my tengu alchemist is a worshipper of Pharasma. It is a very, VERY tenuous alliance. On the plus side, we already know the vamps are playing us. It's just a matter of determining exactly how.

Cursed cleric who has to perform major acts of healing on a regular basis goes to a small town and tries to poison the population so he can cure them, thereby staving off the curse. He's defeated easily and captured, and not a day later the town gets attack by an ifreet huntsman who goes after humanoids for sport. Everyone in town gets abducted, and the party has to ally with the guy they literally just stopped from poisoning everyone yesterday. Good times, good times.

In fact, they didn't even know his motivation. They just locked him up and forgot about him until they needed him. So... yeah.

As a GM, you need to be very careful about invalidating a character's progress towards their personal goals.
Players get emotionally involved in the game and in their characters. It's natural for humans to do so, even with fictional ones.

Nami says "Don't not" instead of "don't" or "do not" in panel 2

You've probably already noticed this, but just in case you haven't, and can somehow fix it, I thought I should tell you

Actually, she says "Don't act". It's just the way the font looks.

"laying bait"

Today I managed to bait one of my friends into a battle wth a foe far beyond their capabilities (and one who was actually friendly at first) because I mentioned he was protecting a science facility which specialises in mathematics (For some reason he wants nothing more than to wipe Math from the universe) To save face the rest of the party turned on the aggressor to try and make the King of Braves not obliterate them violently. It worked and after they promised to place the player in the brig for it the King of Braves let them leave. It was kinda strange but I guess I shouldn't try and make him fight a dragon solo with no support because it's hiding a math book or something.

Man, this is reminding me of how much I liked (well, loved to hate) Arlong. He's just so gleefully awful.
