Looks like another flash-back scenario... >_>

Who do you think is going to narrate this time around? ^_^

Oh... by the way, for those of you who play / keep up with Five Nights at Freddy's, I made a theory video. :p

Dragon you sound like a total nerd. :P

Anyway I assume it'll probably be Nami's player, she's always looking for things to talk about.

I'm suddenly imagine Luke actually trying to physically pull off some of the stuff Claire does while larping, and would be very impressed if he even remotely could do it.

Being characters that just love trains make me assume Nami would be Rachel, once again managing to totally avoid the other played for a good while (and getting to gracefully climb out a window then, with grace, sneak along the side).

Luke trying to acrobatics. Haha! Oh that's a hilarious thought.

Yeah, but who knows, she might decide to play a different character.

Oh good! I thought that's what they were talking about, but I wanted a second opinion.

Love that he picked Isaac and Miria for those two!

Actually, I don't think they are. They're playing as humans, not Immortals. Isaac and Miria were Immortals when they were riding on the train. Remember how Czes freaked out when he figured out that Isaac was immortal as he was trying to save him?

If they're both train enthusiasts then Luke could be Claire and Rachel. Aka the Conductor and the Girl with no ticket. Although I would actually really like to see them as Claire and Chane.

It's always hard to explain why bad memmories can ruin so much for you, even though you know it's not the same.
People almost always take it personal, while you know it's just you and they are not at all like the ones who hurt you. It's not their fault they said or did something completly normal, that just remembered you of a really bad past.

It's like when you eat something really bad once and got sick of it. Every next time you eat it, you want to trow up, even though there's nothing wrong with it.
I mean, I still love vanille ice, and I still love things covered in chocolate, but give me somthing that even remotely tastes like a Magnum and I just can't stand it.

It's hard when your heart and feelings aren't rational.

Man, I'm starting to wonder if there is ANYTHING on TV in this world. Not that I'm against a world where tabletop RPGs are the number one source of home ascertainment but...

There's nothing on TV in our world either.
That's what Crunchyroll, DVDs, and other ways to watch anime that are not TV are for!
Plus, when people are supposed to start showing up, it can be kind of obnoxious if those already there are watching something. Because you don't want to tell them to turn it off so that you can start the game, but at the same time, you really want to tell them to turn it off so that you can start the game.

I'd be happy to wait while we watched anime. Spongebob Squarepants and Steven Universe are another story entirely.
My fellow martials are always late anyway though, so waiting is pretty much a given.

The only thing on TV in Campaign Comic World is endless reruns of Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail.

Speaking of, I'd be surprised if someone hadn't made a campaign comic of Quest for the Holy Grail already. And if they haven't, then they should.

"Oh god..."

They're doing Baccano. Luke as Ladd Russo, Kat as Chane...and man, no one could build Claire like Corey.

For some reason, I keep getting this image of Kat as Claire. Weird personal philosophy, colorful character... and something happens which makes the game "not end well."

Not the most likely assignment, but delightfully bent, and sets up later "What the hell" reactions.

I'd argue that Claire is more DM's territory. If I had to guess, I'd put Corey down for Jacuzzi Splots.

"Watch it!"

Isaac and Miria are the main comic relief, but there are enough comedic moments that don't involve them.

"Baccano!" is a very shenaniganish story that got its name from the Italian word for "ruckus". Its creator prefers to translate the title as "stupid commotion" though, and that does a very good job of describing the plot. Everything does connect though, and it'll be a good idea to give the series a second viewing so that you'll make connections you didn't make the first time through.

The anime uses plots from 3 and 1/2 light novels with a scene or two from other light novels that would have had their plots featured in a second season. I list that "1/2" because they avoided the drug stuff from a light novel titled "Drugs and Dominoes". Two of those light novels dealt with the events on the Flying Pussyfoot, so there will be more attention paid to that.

This is one of those animes where the English dub is arguably better than the subtitled version. You should be able to watch it on Funimation's website, but I've heard that it's also on Hulu. And if you enjoy it, go ahead and try to find English translations of the light novels.

Also, if the first episode leaves you cold do at least try the second: episode 1 is widely considered a pretty bad intro to the series because it's so choppy it leaves people who don't have any idea what they're getting into at a loss (but holds up better on rewatchs when you actually know what's going on).

On an unrelated note, I wonder if the guy who did "the DM of the Rings" is going to pick up on and do the Hobbit Trilogy with the DM character having learned his lesson and not doing the "forced railroad" thing that ended with his players off miles away from the storyline he plotted out.

Luke is probably talking about Claire.
He would be the most broken character possible.
