And thusly was the All Blue forgotten in the ether of One Piece history, to be mentioned only in passing for years to come...

It seem to be forgotten, and then someday it will come back in our face the moment we're less expecting it!

And there goes my "Luke shanghaiing Sanji theory". Oh well, you win some you lose som, but this comic does remind me of a session I missed because of a stomach bug ( my friends told me what happened later). Supposedly, the DM ran a who-done-it adventure and remembering minor but important details is what the group usually leaves to me. Since I wasn't there things got a bit... crazy.

"Tell a Story: About the Note-Taker"

If you have one, they're possibly the most annoying person at the table. If you don't have one, your entire group gets screwed more often than a porn starlet.

The Note-Takers are the ones that record everything your team needs to remember, often MORE than they need to remember. Tell a story about when your group's note taker saved the day, or REALLY got in the way.

I don't just take notes, I take notes in the form of a journal written in character by my character.

That's what ours does too. Or did; we suspect she's being secretive so we don't know she's planning on stabbing us all in the back deeper than usual and ascending to lichdom.
Love the player, hate the wizard.

We don't really need a note taker for the normal reasons anyway; I have a pretty sharp memory, and tend to correct anyone who gets things wrong.

"On the way to Enies Lobby"

GM: You wanna do what?
Luke and Corey: Sunder it.
GM: The tidal wave?
Corey: Yeah, remember when I got that feat to fight the metal guy. That feat gives me a +5 to sunder.

Nah! All he has to do is try and convince the character it's a good idea to stay with the Baratie, and THEN use the Diplomacy die.

I remember I was once the note taker for my group. Yeah, the dwarven fighter, I know. I had come to the area tracking down an old dwarf stronghold made by family lines that no longer existed. By the time we got to the mountaintop, I had already died and changed characters. Even though I had died by immolation in a magma worm, the player with all the bags remembered the books I kept in the group storage. All my old notes of the area, its odd history, and the legends of the dwarf holds saved the group several times through the caverns weeks after my death.
