Being that I tend to play professional characters that isn't typically how I roll. But I do have a story about the inverse. Was a time I did the inverse though and brought an enemy back to life! |

First session with brand new characers. We were a rogue, paladin, druid, sorcerer, monk (me) and ranger. We are setting up camp for the night, having failed to find the bandits we were looking for, and the druid decided to change to his wolf form and scout while the ranger went off hunting for food. |

Well, one time our party's Paladin rigged the party's stronghold to explode to destroy a sieging host that we couldn't beat while we escaped via a portal. Thing is, it the explosive used was made of a highly volatile, magic material and he placed it on a vein of the same material underneath the castle. The resultant explosion destroyed not only the enemy army, but also about 75% of the country we were in, leaving it the magical version of Fallout and turning our castle into an active volcanic crater. |

Thank you so much DragonTrainer... for not putting a direct link to TvTropes! |

Yeah, it's like 3:30 in the morning here. I really should get to bed, but if the half-dozen or so FF.net tabs I've got open is any indication, that may not happen tonight. |

Mind controlling the rogue to coup de grace the cleric. Followed by mind controlling the fighter and cavalier to kill the witch. Later, I mind controlled another fighter into attacking the first one, only for the one I mind controlled to get eviscerated. I'm GMing this campaign rather than running in it, but I'm still causing more party deaths than any of our Rappan Athuk runs! |

I was playing cyberpunk with a buddy of mine, with his GF running, and two friends of hers. Me and my buddy, we were experienced players, and our characters were professionals. The two new guys...not so much. So at one point, we had captured the bodyguard of the guy we were chasing after. and after we found out he was just hired muscle we said "Look..a jobs a job. Nothing personal about it. Tell us where the guy is and ya walk, one professional to another" So the guy tells us, and one of the new guys cuts his legs off with a monokatana one at a time. Totally unneccessary, bloody, and really unprofessional. So I look over at my buddy, we both nod at each other, and mime pulling our guns. The GM asked "what are you doing?" and we say in unison "Shooting them in the head." The new guys were confused, up till we rolled damage and put them both down. Needless to say, this started the death of the game, as the next two characters they made tried to rob our characters, and we killed them again. |

On an online Kingdom Hearts Forum, I played a cannibal heartless who would often have other heartless running around at the start of a thread, only to use them as cannon fodder, or just eat them if he wanted to. Especially if the npc heartless got in his way. |
