Found another campaign comic! Turns out all I had to do was type in "Darths" in Comic Fury's Search Bar. Anyways, this one's based on Star Trek: The Original Series! ^_^

Please, I beg of thee.
Sanji is not a GMPC yet right? So this might be the action that forces GM to make it so. And it would create group drama which, while upsetting, is always interesting to read. Especially since it further can lead to the Sanji and Zoro rivalry

Well, I still hope Sanji gets an actual player, Sanji is not a DMPC, he does too much stuff, has too many of his own fights

it's funny that you happened to say DMPC instead of GMPC... because I'm pretty sure that if he's not the latter, he might just end up as the former. she needs someone to play now that kurohadol's out of the picture, right?

It makes sense for GM to make Sanji his character if you look at the other stuff he does besides fighting. He does goes into the background alot to help the crew out

Seems logical that GM will sanction Mihawk off, then Emily picks up Sanji and turns him into the third member of the "Monster Three" that we all know and love.

Monster three? As far as, I can tell, Usopp is the only member who isn't a monster.

Well the strawhat crew are traditionally divided into three tiers based on power
the monster trio of Luffy/Zorro/Sanji
the middle trio of Franky/Robin/Brooke (although i personally think Franky could beat Sanji)
and the Normal powered trio of Nami/Chopper/Usopp

To be fair the only reason Chopper is considered part of the "weakling trio" is because of his crippling cowardice. If we are talking in terms of actually combat ability he is up there in the middle.

Love it. This strip gives great insight into Cory and his mentality as a player. Great and well-needed character development.

Although now I suspect I won't be able to watch the scene again without mentally replacing the dialogue with Zoro talking about his high AC.

"Trio"

Even with the dangerous knowledge and ridiculousness of Hana Hana no Mi, I always thought Robin was considered "Normal" tier with Chopper in the middle. But the rankings make sense. The bottom three are all very much "self-preservation" until the chips are down. While the other six seem perfectly okay dying if it means taking WG officials down with them...Or anybody else they decide to aim their suicidal beating stick-selves at.

You could also group it by people who pick fights and people who avoid them.
Luffy/Zoro/Sanji and Franky are in the "picks fights" group, and Chopper, Nami, Usopp and Brooke are in the "avoids fights/cowards" group. Robin is a weird spot in the middle.
The second group is still quite combat capable, if need be, but not as willing to actually fight strong people, if they can help it.

I'm not sure if Emily is really being a good sport, pressing Cory's face into it and all that.

A really dedicated person could probably rank every person on the show in terms of power (except trying to rate a few of the logia and kuma) with very few ties (though some of the information is missing). It's not too hard with the strawhats either (luffy, zoro, sanji, franky, brooke, robin, chopper, usopp, nami). Sure, some of it would be up for debate but isn't that what the internet is for? Okay, now someone go do this (I am too lazy)

I feel like it deserves special mention, even if the comic did already update.

It's a nice take on this scene. It turns out that Cory? Not just playing a total badass, is one.

I like that characterization and I feel like these kinds of scenes are what ____ as a table top roleplaying game campaign should be.
