I strongly doubt any lesser director could make a real H.P. Lovecraft movie decently. It would take a very talented and skilled director to make it feel like a Lovecraft story makes you feel. |

I concur. While I could see an asian or european studio pulling it off, I highly doubt Hollywood would be able to. There's not much of a market for material where everyone is dead or insane at the end, where the evil is hardly ever shown, and the pacing is extremely slow. |

Christopher Walken demands all of your food! Also, I tried to play Call of Cthulhu once. I didn't understand the character making process so I deleted the files I downloaded. |

Yes? Good, they're all dead! |

This also describes Paranoia, except that your second characters might be your first characters again! |

So in other words, the only winning move is not to play. Good to know! ^_^ |

Citizen Raxos. Are you divulging classified information to Infra-Red-Clearance Citizens? |
14th Mar 2014, 8:23 PM
No, Friend Computer. I was clarifying what they already know. If it is above their clearance level, they should not have known in the first place! They are traitors! |

So Paranoia is basically "Throw Your Friends Under The Bus: The Game". |
15th Mar 2014, 5:34 AM
what are these "freinds" you speak of? It is Throw Communist Mutant Traitors Under the Bus but only if the bus is of the proper clearance level. |

The computer is our friend. Why would we want to throw the computer under a bus - whatever that is? |
15th Mar 2014, 6:33 AM
i'm sorry citizen but the existence of commies or mutants is yellow clearance or higher and you all must now be put through the judgment shoot, those of you who meet the clearance level will be given 'cold happy' |
15th Mar 2014, 5:09 PM"Send in the clones"
That was the name of a prepackaged Paranoia adventure module with that very theme. |

I take it as a point of pride (mostly because I'm crazy that way and don't take pride in things that are worth being proud of) that my only attempt at CoC ended up with an entirely logical train of events. |

Some of you may or may not have noticed the little link to the right side of this webpage; the one titled "The Legendary Pixel Crew". It's a new sprite-based webcomic that I'm planning on starting up some time soon. It uses sprites taken from lpc.opengameart.org/
In other news, Call of Cthulhu exists in this universe! Huzzah! ^_^
The films might not, though. >_>
