Pretty sure there's no way in hell GM's gonna let Emily have a character as powerful as Mihawk Dracule... oh man. Oh man oh man oh man. Is... is Emily going to play a martial artist specializing in kicks?
Luke: Hey, you need a name? I have the perfect name for you!
Emily: Really?
Luke: Sure! Sanji!
Emily: You mean the waiter chef?
Luke: Yeah! You could get a bunch of free points in profession(gourmet chef) and you wouldn't be any less effective!
Emily: But I wrote a whole backstory and everything!
Luke: Let me see that... I think you made a mistake. This is supposed to be your character's backstory, this appears to be Don Juan.
@Raxon
Brilliant foresight and quite possibly, that is sort of what'll happen. You've made one error, though. The waiter-chef do not yet have a real name. Up till this point, he is known as the sous-chef, not Sanji.
Wait, the one with-ohhh, I remember him. Yeah, the Worf mook used to introduce Sanji as a badass. Yeah, pretty forgettable.
Then again, he might have stood out more if he hadn't been overshadowed by Don Krieg and immediately after by Dracule Mihawk.
Now I'm starting to predict Emily introducing her character Dracule Mihawk as a warlord prestige class, and having him taken away from her after she reduces Cory to -9 virtually uncontested, and wipes out a dozen ships with a swing of her sword.
That makes a bit of sense, too. If Cory and Emily have some sort of history, it would explain why Zoro and Sanji are always competing and arguing and stuff.
Which would help the story a bit- in that it's pretty obvious Sanji's player and Cory aren't gonna get along perfectly, or at least be competetive, and up until now it looked like DM would have to fill that role, even though she seems WAY more like she'll end up as Robin's player, if she ends up as a player.
Oh, boy, party drama. That reminds me, there is an article in Quartz titled "Everything I need to know about management I learned from playing Dungeons and Dragons" in honor of the 40th anniversary of the game. Its last point is about romances between players and how that is like workplace romances.
"When two people play D&D who are dating in real life, it’s a lot like dating in the workplace. If two co-workers start helping each other out (or worse, taking revenge on one another) as a consequence of their romantic entanglements, others in the office feel like the rules of the workplace are being broken. And in Dungeons and Dragons, forget it—how do you fairly divide up the loot from a slain dragon when your elvish cleric and your dwarvish warrior are not-so-secretly in love?"
What drama? Don't be silly! Just because Emily is carrying the child of Cory's evil twin brother who is secretly Luke, but doesn't remember due to ammesia because DM tried to kill him for sleeping with Nat when he and DM were engaged, even though he was only saying he slept with her to save her honor when she became pregnant with DM'S kid before DM became a woman to avoid the police because she was wanted for the murder of Nat's father, who was going to write Nat out of his will and give it all to his sexy young wife instead, that doesn't mean there has to be drama.
I still can't believe no one's figured out who Nat's stepmother is. I thought I made it way too obvious, especially considering what happened during Phil and Rika's little side adventure.
Like most of everyone above,i think Emily is going to play as Mihawk, then get shortly reduced to Sanji. Though i Have to wonder who can be such a master of brokenness to create Whitebeard.

What if she bribed him with food? That's all it took to get Luffy approved, and remember how much he had to tweak the game because of that?

Luffy can smash a ship at this point, and it takes some real doing.
Mihawk can destroy a hundred ships with a single flick of his wrist.
The power difference is two to three magnitudes here.
