Having tons of decoy notes is brilliant if you are prone to losing the actual notes. The players won't be able to sift the wheat from the chaff, even if they find the real notes. Clever.
i@Raxon: Yes, I was starting toward either him or Sanji as the GMPC. Both would make sensible additions to the group, based on my impression of the GM. I can't wait to see what diplomacy-fail Luke will pull to start the Rumble, though... And that pearl-guy! Can't wait for that fight. Using shields offensively, I can grasp the strategy and actually pull it off ecently IRL. Though I'd probably get something more bulky than the bucklers/targes he uses. I tend not to like getting kicked in the face by Gordon Ramsey...
Not a problem. I myself would use targes. Small target shields with optional spikes or knives in the center, to enhance my shield bash move.
Either that, or outfit myself as an unstoppable juggernaut with an impenetrable shield, like Kore from Goblins.
For best results, though, I think I would dual wield +5 supreme balance adamantine target shields with toggleable razor sharp edges, and enchanted with flawless return, so I'd never lose them.
And then when I'm done ripping off Captain America, I think I'll borrow a little Deadpool and give them amusing names and enchant them to giggle like small children in combat.
Friend of mine came up with an interesting fighter build. In addition to using a spiked shield (buckler I think), also getting spiked shoulder pads. And Gauntlets. While using a two handed weapon of some sort.
What was the name of that dwarven combat unit in the Drizzt books again? The Battleragers?
Basically a bunch of dwarven berserkers who would get themselves worked into a frothen drunken frenzy before combat, wear spiked full plate with razor sharpened edges, then just throw themselves on the enemy and start thrashing around.
*Sigh*

Instances where doing sessions digitally would have made things so much easier: this one.

inoright?
If it was me I'd go one step further and generate the fake notes procedurally. Like, what if I need fake notes really damn fast?
The issue is keeping the input data of course.

Damnnit, GM! Start a Wiki for the campaign! That's what I did when I started up my game, and it worked out great!

I'm sure Nat has about 5 journals by now full of information the GM could use. With pie charts and everything.

I don't see Nat as a pie chart person.
But perhaps her experiences in this campaign would show her their virtues?

Has anyone else noticed that GM seems to be gearing up to introduce Don Krieg as his GMPC?

I apologize for the abysmal lack of structure in my previous statement.
Kind of got carried away by my train of thought.

Don Krieg reminded me of that build.
Now if only he had a spiked chain...

You need to wear the spiked chain as a belt!
