Welcome, new and old readers, to Grand Line 3 Point 5's official transition to Comic Fury! ^_^

I've gotten some complaints from readers about how they were unable to make an account over at Drunk Duck. Since that site is now down (again), I've decided that now would be a good time to make the transition. I kinda like it here... I can make a proper cast page and stuff now. :p

"...he's been lucky so far."

Isn't that, like, the story of Ussop throughout the entire series?

Basically. Along with the ability to take a 4 ton bat to the face and able to stay conscious enough to take out both of his opponents along with Chopper's help. Damn, I wonder how much HP Ussop has by that point?

"Funny you should mention these things..."

I know, I know I am the oddball that doesn't know D&D very well but does know GURPS.

Usopp may be a character that works better in GURPS. Why? Besides appearing to have a good Speed, and being Skill intensive (and implied good DX and IQ scores)... he seems to have multiple Luck based advantages.

The best version (Super Luck) literally allows you to dictate the result of any one die roll once per session. You can also take one of Luck, Extraordinary Luck, and Ridiculous Luck allow you to roll three times (or re-roll up to twice). Rolls have to directly involve your character (no using your luck so someone else can do something). Those three can't be taken together, as the next is just the same advantage as the previous one, but usable more frequently (From once per hour of play to once every 15 minutes of play). At least if I remember the rules correctly.

There are a few others as well, but this is a long enough post. Does D&D have something similar?

"Luck in DnD"

There is Luck in DnD, at least to some degree. Theres the luck domain for clerics, but mostly a serief of feats (luck-feats, duh!) that grant you the possibility of a reroll for something, e.g. misschance against concealment.

Theres also a prestige class, if I remember correctly...

Already glad I can leave comments. Lurking for 400+ pages wasn't enough.

Also a fan of this webcomic, Drunk Duck looked like too much effort to make an account to comment.

Here's hoping that this site works out better.

That explains why all your comments so far are dated August 18, 2013. I was wondering.

Think Phil will put something to avoid getting sick as well. since at some point Ussop did say he never get sick.
