Um, didn't Luffy's character sheet say he was Chaotic Good not Neutral Good? |

Chaotic Good is still within one step away from Neutral Good. It's like the Cleric alignment system. :p |

I assume you mean that their characters could never get along in-game whit a CG and a NE character but couldn't Kuro go Neutral Neutral? |

Only if Kuro were to take two steps from his current alignment, and also more than likely lose a fair amount of his attacks and abilities since only Evil characters can use them. Or so I'm guessing. |

True Neutral's within 1 step of Neutral Evil. Have we found out Kuro's & Kurohadol's alignments? |

the restriction seems to be anchored on good and evil |

True Neutral is within one step from both Neutral Good and Neutral Evil, guys. |

so is this an actual maneuver, or something you made up for the comic? 'cause if it *is* real, then I want to use it, but have no idea how to find it. it seems really useful. |

Martial Artists in this comic's game system have an alignment restriction similar to that of a Cleric's.
Alignment: A martial artist must have a chosen alignment at 1st level. A martial artist’s alignment must be within one step of this chosen alignment (that is, it may be one step away on either the lawful–chaotic axis or the good–evil axis, but not both). This chosen alignment will usually be the alignment of the martial artist’s teacher.
