Oh great, on top of everything else he's the asshole little kid who's throwing out bollocks excuses when he's playing pretend.

More like He got psyched out into making a mistake. It’s not just the fact he’s a jerk Cory is just that damn good at pvp and breaking the system. Half of it is reading your opponent and screwing with their head

Cory knows the build tricks better than batboy.
Cory also knows batboy is out of actions to roll with the landing.
Batboy might even take more damage from the fall than from the attacks, in addition to landing prone.

Y'know, I think Gordon only allowed that to happen because because he really didn't like Mr. 9's player, and I fully support that.

His choices were fail or fail. I have no problem with people forgetting things they can do and asking to do it retroactively within a timeframe. This is particularly so if they're new to the character, especially if they're new to the system.

Here, he uses his maneuver, he falls off the building because there's nowhere to go. He doesn't, he's in range.

What kind of DM allows takesies-backsies in PvP?! Especially PvP with some actual player hostility. This DM is playing with fire!

Honestly it seems more like the player acting before the GM can properly interject

I got a DM that allows that, so long as it's still the appropriate turn.

Like no taking back damage dealing stuff afterwards, but if you want to say, move, and you didn't, that's allowed.

Part of the reason being we don't abuse it, but we don't "undo" stuff.

I imagine that Cory asking about it suggests that he'd be OK with the change. He wants a good fight, after all.

Pretty sure he wanted the results he got: the guy jumping himself off a roof because he wasn't paying attention to the map.

Perhaps he takes more damage from the fall than he did from zorro and the dm is just letting him eat it.

The kind that realizes the take back would hurt the take-backer more than their current situation?

The more I see of him the more he reminds me of a player I removed from my games due to being just... the worst.

"Morbo Speaks"

That staircase is misaligned with the door that it leads to; BUILDINGS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY.

It looks like there's a platform/roof that connects the stairs and door with space between them. Buildings can work like the way I said.

Got flashbacks to OOTS’s bit with the chain-wielding half-ogre wonder. Glorious stuff.
