So from what I've gathered, it's an event by the game's creators trying to showcase just how much fun their product is and trying to sell as many copies of their latest books as possible, right?
So isn't this the kind of event where they definitely would not want someone like Cory breaking their shiny new product in half and showing all the balancing issues with it?
Just how much are they paying him to NOT take part in those events?
I am not sure I would like to join something like that.
Its fun to play characters that I like, developing their story, ... but I am not sure I would like people watching me doing this.
I'm thinking it's going to be closer to "wait, are you the asshole who got kicked out after six women complained about one of the competitors groping them?"
There's nothing saying you can't go to Vegas under the age of 21. You simply cannot do anything on the game floor, and many restaurants will bar you from entry after... I believe the cutoff is 9pm as they convert to full bar operations at that point.
I just noticed. But why are all the gunners right next to Zoro, and the melee combatants are all further away than the gunners? Is it a twisted method of provoking Cory's AOOs on those guys in order to cut him down with beefier swordsmen?
Did Luke beat Jayden at Megalonia? Luke seemed to recognise him in 1326. Did Luke beat him in Vegas and entirely forget about him and here Jayden's trying to get "Vengeance"

I figure one of the aspects is like the Pathfinder Cheese Grinder in Dragon*Con's game track. Ultimate cheese build head-to-head, last PC standing.
This dude's flashing names for cred, and is gonna run into the wall of people-who-actually-know-their-stuff

I remember something similar to that happening for 3.5, I think it was just an online thing though, without official support
I think it was no spellcasters allowed, because a frenzied berzerker/eye of gruumsh won

When Megalonia was first mentioned they said it was in Vegas and wondered how Luke got there since he is underage.

Yeah, that was a year or two back THEN, since they were talking about the next one, and we've moved a bit ahead since then.

Maybe he just leaped to the back of their line. They wanted swordsman up front, marksmen in the back, but he swapped it up on them.

Nice foreshadowing; flying horse and giant tiger are mounts in Skypia and Wano respectively.
