Agreed. I think Ohranger would be the best choice for that. Ohranger started with an arms race to fight the overpowered machines, starting with only one ranger and no mechs of their own. I can see adapting that in the context of leveling.

Also, thank god they didn't adapt the train sentai into power rangers.

Especially if it starts out with Zedd as the villain. He was the best villain of that series.

I've always wanted to play with in a game where everyone's the same class. Doesn't matter if it's dnd classes either, could be clans in Vampire, professions in dark heresy (like the all guardsman party) or even like an all Smuggler party in Star Wars. Just think it'd be fun to see different takes on the same concept.

It would be amusing to see all rogues (without multiclassing), and how one would try to be a combat healer...

Then again there are shitton of ACFs or variant classes...
(For a healer I'd probably go with Martial Study and getting one of those Devoted Spirit manoeuvres and maybe the alternate rogue that gets shitton of feats)

Well dnd might not be the best for the idea, since party roles tend to be pretty isolated and also in 3.5 especially martials are very dependent on casters. But if you were doing it, yeah you'd probably go for Rogues. For healing maybe you could get ahold of wands of either CLW or pref Lesser Vigour and UMD them, maybe some healing belts. I'm more worried about later levels.

You'd also wand the weapon aug crystals that let you sneck attack undead and crystals. I'd imagine ambushes would be pretty popular with that party.

Probably would want to get darkvision on everyone as well, so most likely people would pick a race with it.

Try Mutants and Masterminds(point-buy superhero-based system with a lot of options and freedom in character creation), giving everyone a basic theme/hero-type to try for, and see what different players do with it.
Speedsters for example, you could get a Quicksilver ripoff, a Flash ripoff that phases through things, a time traveler, I've even seen a speedster/healer called "The First Responder"(a precautionary GMPC to make sure the new players' heroes were not gonna die in their first encounter)

HAH! That explains why he always goes "This is the place where I die". He made a slightly edgy backstory nobody takes seriously and is trying to kill off his character so he can have a do over, but the problem is it's Corey, and as such he's got the manuvers and such that make him too strong. Perfect!

... I like ToQger. Best non-adapted yet Sentai.

I'd almost finished with all the series of Kamen Rider I've been recommended, not sure how worthwhile it is starting on other sentai series.
Anyone who's seen this think it's worth the watch?
