I mean, really, Luke is just fulfilling the most important party role as a player: the one who makes things happen. Sure, you can sit around and discuss strategy for hours, or the player who makes things happen can go in the front door and punch someone.
Too much debating?
Punch someone.
Too much punching?
Hug someone.
Too much hugging?
Talk to a random NPC and get really into it.
Where was I going to this?
Whatever, just do stuff!
That reminds me of that times where, to avoid being seen, we had to make absolutely sure that nothing happened until the townsguards who where after us go past us. the party concluded that the best way to do it was to bound the two members with the tendency do make things go awry, me and another guy, playing you average brutish Barbarian.
We ended up being found out because the other guy crawled to a table and got into a armwrestling match with a NPC, but using his teeth since his hands weren't availiable.
As he explained afterward, the GM did'nt do that just because he "knew that one of us would still find a way to mess things up, and he really wanted to see how" Also the other made sure to be discreet when tying our character

Thought that story was going to end with you arousing attention by tying two people up
