Story time! Tell a story about DMs giving NPCs weird accents.
Actually, I just started DMing a game for my friends. There was this old man NPC, but as I was trying to go for an old man voice, my nervousness got to me a bit, and I started stuttering, which made him sound like Jimmy Stewart, so I just rolled with it.
DMs? I have a friend who does it for all of his characters... His Drunken Monk was British, his warlock-paladin is Scottish... It only gets crazier when he does DM, because he will give every single character a different accent. I have no idea how he keeps track of them all!
I do that all the time, there was this one time when I had to do seven distinct voices in rapid succession as the party had decided to storm into a council chamber and I had to voice all the different councilors some of whom began arguing with each other over how improper it was for the player characters to barge in. I pulled it off, but my throat hated me for the rapid changing of voices.
A not entirely intentional exemple. a friend of mine had some relative visiting him and we played a couple sessions with them.
Since the table was 3 americans, 2 british and 1 french (myself), we decided that it would be easier to just play in english.
I got tired of trying to speak english with a semblance of a proper pronunciation, and decided to just speak with a french accent just as i was
playing a NPC.
The players immediately renamed this guy "the French henchman" and they liked it so much that i decided to keep him around. He ended up being the Vilain's right hand man when he was initialy just a random bad guy.
(Of course, that mean i had to keep trying to have a good pronunciation when not playing the French henchman).

Now, we could just say that Gorden had a pic of the dude, but I'd much rather imagine that Luke just has the ability to see Flashback characters.

How does Luke know about the cowboy hat? Did Gordon produce a figure for Yorki or something? Or is he in a picture from a splatbook?

I think there was his picture in the book.
or Gm described him at the begining of the flash back.
