"I'm alright but..."

Sometimes your character is alright in the HP, but the worst effect isn't always damaged based.

Tell a story of when you didn't take damage but suffered something else.

In an evil campaign I was playing a former royal guard who had been seduced by the queen, falsely accused of rape, and sentenced to die by the king before escaping, stealing the secrets of Divine Magic from the gods to become an Ur-Priest, and beginning plotting my revenge. However, since he was still secretly in love with the queen who betrayed him, part of his master plan involved leading a popular revolt against the monarchy so that he could magnanimously offer her a place under him in the new order. Standard tragic villain love story.

The main component of his plan was peeling several good organizations away from their loyalty to the crown, which was not particularly good aligned. To do this he had to convince dozens that he was a good and honorable man, even he had never been particularly honorable and had secretly done some very vile things to rebuild his personal and social power since his fall. His personal war was more about PR than outright battle.

Well, the group of assorted villains he was running with had very backstories and goals but were not nearly so LE as he was, skewing much more CE. When we tried to enter a major city and were stopped and attacked by the guards, nothing he said could stop his party from flexing on the city with extreme prejudice. When it became obvious that burning a major city to the ground was going to ruin all his attempts to court powerful organizations and undo all the careful influence building he had been doing, I did a flex of my own, I cast Miracle... at Level 14. Lets just turn back time 10 minutes and do that encounter again, shall we. This time I made clear in no uncertain terms that I was going to solo TPK the whole party if they didn't fall in line. Sometimes it just feels great being the best munchkin at a table!

If I liked Jayden more, at this point I'd be rooting for him to become the recurring villain of the campaign. Have him show up every arc as Crocodile, Eneru, all of the big bads, trying to figure out how to beat the WTF that is the party.

"Haha I have the perfect combo of powers that can one shot every person at this table."

"Umm you do know that my powers make me immune to your brain damage type right?"

Cue THAT Enel face.

Or how about:
"I have the perfect power that can absolutely NEGATE every character at this party."

"But I'm already NEGATIVE!"

Cue THAT Perona face.

Exactly.

Everyone guesses Lucci's evil simply because he's playing him.

"I have the perfect power that can basically make you cease to exist if I land a touch attack"

"I can snipe you from two miles away while you have multiple sets of total cover"

Cut THAT Sugar face.

Yeah. When a NPC start doing crazy shit, let him do it and just remember not to pick a fight with him if you don't know what you're doing.
