Hey, It'd have to notice something that hit right into the eye, even if it did'nt actually manage to harm him.

Each size category is double in each dimension the size category below it, so Colossal (+7) would be 128x as long wide and thich as Colossal (+1.

I think she was saying it as a exageration, not literally.
The thing is still dam huge, though. Colossal was above 65 ft/20 m if i recall correctly?

I have a absolutely shitty sense of scale, but judging by his size relative to the lighthouse on page 1345, his whole body must be a few hundreds feet long. So more like Colosal plus, plus, plus.

Or m

*or maybe she meant add colosal 7 times (i mean, doubling to volume for each category when you get to something larger than 128 feets would give you categories so large they don't really give you a idea of the size of the thing.)

Go back to page 1345. See that tiny black dot in the water going down Reverse Mountain? That's the Going Merry.

You can also compare the length of the Going Merry with the eyeball's diameter in page 1349, then refer back to page 1345's eyeball.

According to Wikipedia, a Caravel could be as short as 39 feet or as long as 20 metres (66 feet). According to Stormwrack, the Sailing Ship listed in the Player's Handbook is a Caravel. The Sailing Ship there is described as being between 75 to 90 feet.

I low-balled it and got a little over 2,000 feet for the visible part. Assuming the Going Merry's 60 feet, the visible part would be over 3,000 feet tall. Now look for a picture of a Sperm Whale for a good idea of its overall length.

Incidentally, that would put the lighthouse between 150 to 240 feet tall.

Edit: Found a screenshot of the lighthouse with people standing outside it and... maybe it's the perspective, but it seemed like the lighthouse is more around 60 to 70 feet tall?

It must have the biggest size penalty on hide check ever. But really, when you're that huge, others hide from you

"The eye"

You wouldn't notice a gnat landing on your shoulder, but you would defiantly notice one landing on your eye.
