But that’s besides the point. Anybody have a story about a time a new player or guest showed up and pointed out the sheer crazy you and your party take to be the norm?

I got something of the inverse.

I had been in and out of a group for a bit due to school, and I joined mainly combat sessions by pure luck. So, I'm able to finally join for a more RP session, when we come across some orphans.

Now, apparently, my group was kinda heavy on the murder hobo side of things even in the RP side, so, I kinda threw things for a loop when I dumped like 50 gold into helping these orphans who were almost certainly planned to be killed.

They never expect someone to try the suicidal option that will almost surely end in failure and death without any action on the part of the BBEG's forces. I wonder why.
