As pointless as this filler arc was, I really love when Eric the Whirlwind just outright murders an officer. Right on brand.

Imagine how it'll be next day.
"Hey, DM, remember how you were all nice and cheerfull and bubbly last night?"
"I don't, and you don't either"
"What? but you were..."
"You. Don't. Remember"
"Ok, nothing hapened."
"good".

I think they may find use for that line in a future session. Just a hunch.

I Would have loved seeing Rika's reaction to the cheerful DM.
