Everything happening makes so much more sense this way. That is, it still makes no sense, but there's a good reason for it.

It helps that everyone is somehow still coherent enough to give reasons that make sense for a DnD group, and that our lovely DM's notes are both good enough, and bad enough, that it allows for everything.

Also, that the DM is loopy enough that he's not stopping anything.

This is a session that's being made up on the spot by both players, Dm's, and the DM's almost unreadable notes.
