Oda never forgets. Any sort of faithful recreation would reflect this, so it is only proper.

I’ve been banned from the Polymorph Any Object spell for that very reason. Sure I could turn my enemies into pigs or mice, but this gives much more fun reactions

If I polymorph a diseased enemy into an animal which is not susceptible to the disease, could I eat that animal with no repercussions?

In theory the animal could still function as a carrier for the disease, so I wouldn't recommend it. Always make sure to thoroughly cook your dead enemies before eating them.

...Please tell me they're dead when you try to eat them.

hey, i played a character who ate peop...things alives, once. in a one-shot. It was a extraterestrial being with a hideous appearance, but projected itself in a form peoples would be comfortable with. Showing the true form gave really good result for intimidation, but with the risk of making the victim too scared to do or say anything useful.
Now that only affected what people saw, not it's actual aspect or what it did. So it generally avoided getting inside, since it's tail could inadvertantly break something.
And when it catched something with it's mandible and proceeded to swallow it whole whithout munching or killing it beforhand, all what people saw is the Plant/Person/Poor animal being lifted off the ground and absorbed into a mouth that stretched to absurd proportions. before disapearing. generally accompanied by little to no screaming, since by putting-in their head first, the paralitic fluid in it's saliva got to their vocal chords relatively fast.

I precise that i was with the good guy, eating peoples was not something i did when i could avoid it, except for some enemies.

i now have a weird image on my mind.
Now i'm curious. the scream where cut-short, but what about the sound of the alien eating peoples? did the glamour also prevented people from earring them or would someone beholding this spectable hear all the weird squishy noise a alien who swallow peoples alive and coat them in some weird parylitic saliva make?
And was there the old "the miror show the true form", thingy?
that aside, wonder what the big bad would look like with heroes like this.

the noise where heard. now it did'nt make much more noise than a regular guy who eat messily.
I did'nt come across any mirror, but clear water reflected it's true face, so i assume a mirror would have as well.

Much better to polymorph a random object into a nacked example of whatever sex of creature you're trying to distract. Like a tent, maybe.

Also, is Polymorph Any Object limited to only actual, pre-existant things? Or can you make, say, a random rock into something incredibly... strange. Or specifi to the situation.

In Pathfinder at least, the spell has a duration determined by several factors depending on how close the objects are to eachother. So doing what you say and turning a tent into a woman would work, but it would last about 20 minutes. Meanwhile a simple sex change is so close to the base creature that it is permanent. Also for some reason it can’t turn lead into gold, which I guess is for balance reasons

Describing her signature weapon might jog a few memories. That's what got me.
