In our games DM makes all rolls in the open, so there is no way to fudge the rolls. Sure, we lose some surprise this way, but that's how we prefer to roll.
If I want a specific outcome to happen as a GM, I don't roll/allow rolls. There's no need to fudge dice. The only hidden rolls are when I roll for the players because they shouldn't know the result yet.
Normally I'd agree but at times it can give away more than you want to. Having the roll and result means you can determine an NPC's bonuses and leads to metagaming.
Now that I've caught up in my binge I feel safe leaving a comment.
Dude, your writing has stepped up a lot! I feel like you've gone through your own period of growth, just like all of these characters have, and this arc is your own personal moment like what Gordon had a few pages ago. I'm really glad for you.
Thank you! I'll try and keep growing as a writer. ^_^
It's also great to see Highschool of the D&D back out of hiatus. I've wanted to read more of it since you and GrinningFox's writing showed a lot of promise.
The writing in HOTD&D is almost all GrinningFox. My main input is when I want to rearrange something to make a more cinematic page experience, or when he has a couple versions of something he can't decide between.
The one I did the writing for, Dullahans & Delinquents, is still on hiatus, and it's probably going to be for a while, because I'm unsure of where to take it from its current position. However, I did have another comic idea I'm more sure of, and will probably be announcing officially some time next month, so you can look forward to that!

Whoever did call out that he has the 'should I fudge the rolls' face, good call. Looks like you were right.

Does it feel weird that your doing a Shokugeki no Sanji at the same time one officially came out?

Wait, really? As in a chapter of Shokugeki with Sanji or Soma in One Piece?
