i've never really managed to get into Shokugeki no Soma. I usually love show where they go over the top with a mundane discipline, but i don't know it does'nt do it for me.
Anyway, any story involving a PC having to cook to get something or as part of the plan, or just for the heck of it?
I once played a bard who was convinced to be a extremely good chef while actually being terrible. At some point we infiltrated a manor, to try to eliminate the master of the place. We got separated, and after wandering for a while, i ended up in the kitchens disguised as a apprentice. Absolutely certain of my skills, i discretely "improved" the dishes while the others cooks were'nt looking.
Later, our assassination attempt failed because two of us got caugh by the guards. But the good news for us is that our target still succumbed because i unknowingly put poisonous herbs in the food. The bad news is that others peoples tasted this food and ended up intoxicated or sick. the others good news is that half of the guards got sick as well, which would have facilitated our escape if not for the second bad news, they served the dinner leftover to the prisonniers, so the two guys we had to rescue where terribly sick because they had some of it. aftet that, one of them took the habit to only eat somethin after he had made sure it was sain.
