Is that actually Japanese that can be translated, or random Japanese characters?

If the former, would someone mind translating, please?

As could be expected, what Google Translate puts out is trash, but this is vaguely what they're on about:

BONNIE: Oh... a zero? Did you do that on purpose?

CORY: Nothing's wrong, I'm just using a new app.

BONNIE: A new app? A Mackenzie Dice app? Is there any point?

CORY: It's not quite the same system, it's a Praxis. Mackenzie's data is old, and lots of people use it.

BONNIE: So you're using bad programming? Aren't you afraid your app's going to turn into an AI?

CORY: Afraid? Are you afraid, Bonnie? Huh? It's finished.

EPSON: You're... you're good! I'm... I'm called... I'm called Epson. You're... ah...?

CORY: Epson, did you say?! You can call me Zoro. [The character actually used is zero, but...]

BONNIE: Oh, it's so cute! I might just leave my girlfriend![???]

Pinch of salt, as should be taken with Google. Essentially, Cory's dice app turns into a sentient A.I. called Epson that plays Chopper.

And this is the actual Google Translate output from Chinese, if you're interested:

BONNIE: Oh? A zero? Are you doing this?

CORY: Nothing is wrong. Only put a new tight APP.

BONNIE: The new APP? A Mackenzie Dice APP? You, will you have a point?

CORY: It's a system. It's the same system, but it's a Praxis. Mackenzie has different old data, but most of them are used to.

BONNIE: So all bad programming is done by yourself, but your app may turn into A.I.! Are you afraid?

CORY: Scared? Scared, Bonnie? Yeah! Finished.

EPSON: You... You're good! I'm... I'm called... I'm called EPSON. You're... Ah?

CORY: EPSON, did you order?!
You can call me Ah.

BONNIE: Oh, so cute!
May I just leave my generous girlfriend?

Wow, that’s... completely different from the intended script. Especially that last part. >_<”

Well, like I said, Google Translate is trash when it comes to these languages. The last line from Bonnie, if I didn't put a return break in there, it just interpreted the whole line as the first sentence.

Mackenzie? Praxis? AI? Well, it was nice knowing you Cory. You will have a lot of problems very soon.

"No clue, but..."

I can pretty much guess what they’re talking about is a character from DNDAangvanced, the one that plays katara. She programmed a dice app that became sentient and caused issues in game.

I should personally apologize for that session. It's really the worst.

I stopped reading it around the time of the sentient diceapp. I didn’t like that part, but I was mostly annoyed that you had been doing the comic for such a long time and I couldn’t. I had been working on a 5e conversion for Avatar world.

I've never tried D&D Aangvanced, either, but that's because I haven't watched Avatar: The Last Airbender, don't plan on watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, and since I'm not that big on D&D.

...

There are other RPG systems out there, and from what I can tell, a couple even do D&D better than D&D anymore. XD

"What?!"

You don’t plan on watching Avatar TLA? Why?! If it’s cause of the movie, be reassured that it’s nothig like it. The show itself is just plain amazing, why not watch it?

I don't intend to watch ATLA either, though it is for reasons unrelated to the movie.
Very, very petty and stupid reasons, but my reasons.

Sometimes people just decide that they do not want to watch something, even if they know it is good or they may like it.

Vanacan, if you want to ask me why I don't plan on watching it, then just ask instead of guessing, to avoid confusing the issue further. ;) I said nothing about the live action film as it has nothing to do with why I don't plan on watching Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Avatar: The Last Airbender isn't a short series; there is plenty of content and I am uncertain if I have the time to invest in it right now... and when I do have the time, I've got other shows I wish to watch already on the docket. I'm not sure where I'd watch it right now, either.

Beyond that, what little I know of the series makes it difficult to know if I could get "into" the setting anyway. There are just certain things I find "turn-offs" in a series, and Avatar checks some of those boxes. Before you ask, one of those boxes is "pushy fans", which I find extra frustrating because I am a pushy fan of many things and so am trying hard to not be one anymore after realizing how it makes folks less likely to enjoy what I enjoy, not more. ;)

To be completely honest, I was half parodying a pushy fan of avatar. I’m aware of the stigma and reputation we have xD
I do agree that there are lots of shows to watch and no where near enough time to do so, but at the same time I regret that this is a show that has to be sacrificed for that.

i put my reading of most webcomics on hold, except thoses on which i had already caugh up, but that's because i ended up with very little free time thoses last few month. i was barely starting Steven and the crystal GM, D&DAangvanced and the Genre-maker that was Darth&Droid. i'll probably get back at this this summer.

And so, yet another joke comic hints at the existence of the Pink Speaker. Will they end up playing Chopper? The world may never know.

Definitely some form of Chinese, if it was Japanese it'd be entirely in kanji and therefore wouldn't make any grammatical sense.

Specifically, Cantonese, whose written form transliterates the dialect into words very rarely used in Mandarin Chinese (the official language), so a non-native speaker basically can't read it.
