This is an example of a clever workaround for when gameplay mechanics and in-story justifications have trouble matching. I'm working on a homebrew system at the moment, and since it puts a lot of emphasis on role-playing, the feat descriptions need to be vague enough to allow for multiple interpretations based on character behavior. Gotta remember this one.
I love non-crunchy feats. Gives so much more room for play, and it means you can have multiple characters who all use it in different ways. As opposed to "+1 to hit with this weapon type" which... kinda gets boring real quick.
