gotta love it when your enemies have morale so low, they can't be bothered to stop what they were doing to pass the time to join the fight.

"Not worth looting "

Ah, a slight variation on the trusty "they have weapons, but they're old and rusty" diversion.

Anyone want to share a unique way your DM has tried to discourage you from taking loot?

In a star wars game I ran, I noted that storm tropper armor (easy to get because stormtroopers are chumps, but expensive) is hard to sell because it can only be sold on the black market. Not that my players cared... so I set up a nice ambush during their deal, and they walked away with the money... and a bunch of sets of stormtrooper armor.

Should have made the stats of the black marketers to high to beat, or is that thing frowned upon?

Well, the situation was set up with the possibility in mind. It was more fun that way.
If there hadn't been an interruption in the deal, the players would have peacefully sold the goods, and everything would have been fine... but it would have been boring.
Of course, everything would have been harder if they hadn't adopted the apparently overpowered tactic of "turn off the lights". As an all droid party, they could buy darkvision, as well as being very good at mechanics/computer use, and many people didn't bring light sources (or not enough of them to avoid them being destroyed)... On ships, it turns out if you vent the oxygen it's very hard to get back, though I don't think anything happened like that more than once.

Sold a wreckled ship once. we beat up the pirate on it, they go away, we take the ship and sell it to a scrap dealer. but it later turned out the worn out, deserted and seemingly abandonned ship was'nt really abandonned, and was the hideout of undead pirate and ghosts coming out of the wood when night come. the normal pirate we had beaten just happened to came across the ship the same way we did.
the undeads weren't happy with the disapearence of their ship while they where out, and the townspeople weren't happy with us bringing piece of ship full of ghosts. the ghosts weren't happy with the fact that their ship have been dismantled.

I think told that one on my way here.
Amusingly, you where here first, but someone reading the comics from the begining will see my comment first.
