The Iron Chef isn't given the same list of categories for favored enemies though right? I can't see why they would be able to get favored enemies for things you could or shouldn't eat. For example, favored enemy constructs, undead, or elementals, and I would think only evil ones could get favored enemies in humanoid or fey.
If Rangers can get Favored Enemy[Animals], I don't see why Iron Chef can't narrow it down to [Edible Animals] and get a bigger bonus. The problem is that the characters in Toriko are either hired to hunt these creatures, do it as part of their training or are trying to complete their Full Course Menu. This combined with Toriko's vow to always eat what he kills makes it pretty rare to see non-edible animals.
that's how Sanji will end up cooking dinosaurus.
honestly a iron chief seem like a good choice for a pirate campaign that would involve lot of hostile island.
