Yays! 1000 Pages! ^_^

Seriously never thought I'd ever reach 1000 pages. I've certainly been aiming for it ever since I started this webcomic, but it seems surreal now that we're here.

Thank you to everyone for reading and staying with me on this journey so far.

Also, I'm still accepting guest comics, so if you have one you would like to submit, please send it to:

"Everyone wants to be Wanted!"

So, rather obvious Story Time right now:

Tell a story about a time where you and/or your party did something great enough to at least deserve a Knighting, but turned it down for something awesome, yet bizarre. Like a Bounty!

"Having a bounty is kinda like having a high score. Double more important since we don't have a kill counter like in GTA"
"Well you can also think of it as a star rating like in GTA. Have fun fighting super mobs dude"

I hitched on in late 2014-ish, so while I have not been here the whole time I still have been here a long time and I have loved every strip of it.

"Congratulations!!!"

Thank you so much making this funny comic! I have no idea ho long I have been following this one, but it has been quite a while and it's an amazing comic.
You have a great sense of humor and a good feel for the D&D behind it, making for a nice combo!
Your comic is one of the 3 comics that got me into actually role playing, which made me some amazing new friends. So I'm glad to have found this comic.
Keep on working on it! <3

I'm sure you didn't plan for page 1000 to land here, but that just makes it a happy surprise.

Congratulations on reaching 1000 pages!

Congratulations on the 1000th page.

At this rate, I think the 2000th should land somewhere around Drum Island. Can't wait for it. Here's to another five years, come what may!

Anybody have a link to the slow mallet version of "We Are!"? I feel it necessary now.

Well, I guess this explains why some of the Navy people aren't *that* enthusiastic about taking the Straw Hats down in later arcs. They're in the know that they aren't really that bad...and also are potentially crazy.

Usually it's because they have bigger fish to fry (i.e. the main villain of the current story arc), but it could just be because they're bigger instigators of mayhem and chaos than the Muppets, so it's not worth the effort to try.

"Bounties"

Having a bounty just means more plot hooks/enemies to kill. You say "bounty hunter," I say "platters of XP."

It's like having encounters delivered to you instead of rolling randomly!

Bounty hunters probably have pretty good gear if they're hunting dangerous pirates, too! Loot delivered right to your door!

"That guy with the Face"

so not precisely to the prompt.
A group of was gaming with about a year ago went on an epic adventure in 5E. We had intentionally built characters with various issues and problems. Such as our singing cleric that had to roll wisdom saves not to sing, and my paladin based on javier from le misreables. In short I was the worst Paladin because I had absolutely no empathy, and followed the law which for my kingdom was pretty harsh. One such adventure of ours led to wiping out a large portion of this Yuanti worshiping cult, made up of mostly lesser nobles.

One such noble had aided us and in return I offered to lessen his sentencing (which turned out to be death and eternal damnation) so I killed him but did not eternally damn him. Later on when we expected to be rewarded for defeating a large fraction of the cult instead the cleric I mentioned above was framed for the nobles death.

Was he framed because he was found singing about how he was Jajvert, and he wanted a sandwich?

UGH nevermind... This thing.

You know, having purposedely put a bounty on his own head, that'll expalin perfectly how he ended up with a picture of him looking happy and waving at the camera.
Again, hat off, DT.
